Orders received BY 1:00pm Pacific Time M-TH will be processed the same day. AFTER 1:00pm Pacific Time, orders will be processed the following day. Orders placed Friday – Sun will be processed the following Monday.
We offer three shipping options:
FedEx 2-Day shipping – available for SMOKED PRODUCTS ONLY. If you order both smoked and fresh fish, your products will be combined and you must choose overnight shipping.

FedEx STANDARD Overnight Shipping – OVERNIGHT is mandatory for fresh products – Next-business-day delivery by 3 p.m. to most U.S. addresses; by 4:30 p.m. to rural areas; and by 8 p.m. to residences.

FedEx PRIORITY Overnight Shipping – OVERNIGHT is mandatory for fresh products – Next-business-day delivery by 10:30 a.m. to most U.S. addresses; by noon, 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. in remote areas; by noon, 1:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

Generally, fresh fish and shellfish will keep in your refrigerator for 1 – 2 days. Smoked salmon has a shelf life of 3 – 4 weeks in the refrigerator, longer if frozen.
Because Jack’s Fish Spot only ships via FEDEX overnight to make sure it gets to you just as fresh as it left us.
We can ship fish and other products overnight anywhere in the Continental U.S.
We do not make any profit on shipping. The amount we charge you is the amount that FEDEX provides when we weigh the fish and package. An estimate for overnight shipping for one to four pounds would be around $65-$75 plus the cost of the fish and includes the cost of the special box that we ship the fish in. The more weight you ship, the more it costs.
In case there is a delay, all fish shipments are especially packaged to stay cold for up to 2 days in the box.
We do not freeze our fresh fish. If you order fresh fish, you will receive fresh fish in the box that arrives on your doorstep. However you may decide to freeze whatever fish you decide not to eat right away. Once it is frozen and thawed, you should not freeze it a second time. Occasionally we do sell flash-frozen fish because we may find a special deal. If we do that we will tell you up front. In that case you may find the fish is partially frozen when you receive it.
